We know that Agility is the ability and willingness to learn from experience, and then apply that learning to perform successfully under new situations. Every year world and technology are growing, so in my opinion, the present educational system also we can improve for creating a future of the teaching profession. Agile is the future for all domains, I will not say agile is only for project management. In the age of Agility today’s students, teachers, and school systems require the capacity to adapt to an ever-changing world. Today we are discussing the scope of “Agility” and its implementation in early childhood education mainly Montessori education. You know one thing what the real growing age of a child is from birth to 6 years; they are the buds of the future; the real foundation should be built at this stage. So how much we can improve the teaching skills that much will be the developments in kids.

If a project manager can make a project more beautiful, if a teacher can create a best new bud for future, of course in my opinion by using best project management approaches, the agility can create more beauty in the educational system”

The five tips that are necessary for educational agility:

Continuous planning/Stage wise development: –

As with traditional project management, milestones are coming stage-wise in a sequential manner, for getting the best and fruitful result, we are using the concept of agility in project management. The same concept is saying in early childhood education continuous planning and stage-wise development of kids, this was said by Jean Piaget a Swiss psychologist in his “theory of cognitive development”. We can use the best possibility of agility in these 4 stages of child development.

Fruit full process and fun based learning/Friedrich Frobel: –

As the agile project management saying be the more interactive and more transparent approach we can develop inside the teacher as well as in the same required for every kid in the early childhood education time that is learning from surroundings. In these time children requires a fun based learning, the same is stated in the “Friedrich Frobel” one of the teaching models in the early childhood education. This was designed mainly to meet each child’s need for physical activity and the development of sensory awareness.

The concept of Collaboration/ “Reggio Emilia approach”: –

As a project manager, we are doing discussions with team members daily / weekly during sprints; like that in schools as well we can do brainstorming more collaboratively for new innovative ideas to train kids. Collaboration is very necessary for a child’s cognitive growth and development. Groups are always important either it is large or small are encouraged to work together to problems solving using dialogue, comparisons, negotiations, and other important for developing good skills. Child to be competent, resourceful, curious, imaginative, inventive, possess a desire to interact and communicate with others.

Empowered decision making/ More creative and constructive mind set: –

You know we can learn many things from our nature, from our daily life, apart from classroom education a child can learn from his practical experiences from their surroundings, both teacher and parents can motivate this for kids. You know rather than learning, by passively receiving a child’s needs to be pro-active, inquisitive, and wanted to explore with a constructive mentality. The same is said by John Dewey an American Philosopher and Maryia Montessori a Physician. Learning is a natural and self-directed process and education is life itself.

Conclusion: – For learning something and for implementing something we need a mindset, Agile methodology, and the concept of “Agility” has a set of tools, and both a project manager and teacher can improve it, for that we need both flexibility and speed. Learning “Agility” has both motivational and skills we can fully utilize in early childhood education for making fruitful skills to our growing buds (“Kids”).
